Basilica of Saint Mary Wedding Photography ~ Shannon & Jake

Shannon & Jake are such a fun couple and I loved being part of their wedding day! The day started out at the Van Dusen Mansion where everyone got ready. It is such a cool place with so many antiques throughout the house. The wedding ceremony was held at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis. Here is a little sneak peek of their day.

Shannon wanted to see her dad before she went out to see Jake for the first time. I love special moments like this!

Shannon wanted Jake to see her for the first time as she walked down the aisle so they exchanged gifts around a wall and then Jake was blindfolded so they could have a special moment together. It was such a creative way for them to spend a little time with each other before the ceremony without spoiling that moment when she came down the aisle. Next we headed over to the Basilica of St. Mary where their ceremony was held. Wow, what a gorgeous church!!!I loved her flowers!Husband & Wife!After the ceremony we headed over to the Van Dusen Mansion for social hour and Bride and Groom photos. They are so cute together!!!
